The dual stage glass wiped film (molecular) distillation system is a highly efficient separation and purification plant for separating high boiling point liquids and heat sensitive materials. It combines thin film evaporator with short path evaporator to purify material 2 passes at one time, to receive high purity distillates. In the thin film evaporator, the material is uniformly coated on the heated surface through the PTFE scraper to form a thin film, which enables rapid evaporation of the volatile components. The unevaporated components are pumped by discharging pumps into the short path evaporator for further separation and purification.
